Secret knowledge can be obtained from piles of papers, which can be found around the world of Faeo. Piles of papers can be found in crates and barrels from Kretches Lair, in ruins of Plateau of Silence and of Isles of Fay-Go and in chests and caskets which can be opened by skilled lock picks.

Unfortunately, these papers are covered with ancient writing and only the wisest of your race can read them to you -  Flavviy or  Pandrik. With each pile of paper they read to you, there is a chance that you will learn the secret knowledge that they carry.

Secret knowledge will allow you to study and utilize the techniques of the chaos. They can be studied in ancient textbooks that are sold in old library, Isles of Fay-Go. After you have obtained a new textbook, you can bring it to one of the wise, so he could read it to. You will only be able to understand it if you have enough knowledge:
